Engineering

All of the Sport Ice machines benefit from being custom designed and engineered for use as an ice resurfacing machine. They are not built on a golf cart chassis or some other vehicle base. The machines have been designed to not only produce good ice reliably but they also have been designed to be easy to operate and easy to service.

The Engineering staff has more than 25 years of designing and building ice resurfacing machines. They also have a passion for the ice, both by skating and playing hockey but by also by being knowledgeable about ice rink operations, concerns and conditions. Their goal is produce a reliable, easy- to- use machine that produces a good sheet of ice each time it is used.
The Engineering staff uses modern design tools, like 3D CAD (ProEngineer from PTC), to design and produce the Sport Ice machines.
